Clean your email list before you hit send
Every bad address on your list costs you. Emails to dead domains bounce, bounces hurt your sender reputation, and a poor reputation pushes even your good emails toward spam. Veml finds the addresses that will never be delivered, plus the ones that are risky, so you can remove them before your next campaign.
Paste your list or upload a CSV, pay $1 per 1,000 emails in a single payment, and get results in seconds. You can download a clean list of the valid addresses straight away.
How it works
- Add your list. Paste addresses one per line, separated by commas, or in "Name <email>" format. You can also upload a .txt or .csv file. Extract mode pulls addresses out of any text.
- Pay once. $1 per 1,000 emails, one payment for your whole list. Checkout is handled securely by Stripe, and you come straight back to your list.
- Get your results. Every address is graded Valid, Risky or Invalid with a plain-English reason. Copy or download the valid ones, or export the full report as a CSV.
What Veml checks
- Live mail servers (MX records): confirms each domain exists and is set up to receive email.
- Syntax: full RFC 5321 and 5322 rules, including length limits, illegal characters, double dots and international domains.
- Domain typos: catches mistakes like gmial.com, yahoo.con and hotmail.co, and suggests the fix with one click.
- Disposable email: flags addresses from about 9,000 temporary inbox services.
- Role accounts: flags shared inboxes like info@, sales@ and support@, which bounce and complain more often.
- Provider rules: applies Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud and AOL username rules, so impossible addresses are caught.
- Parked domains: spots domains whose mail goes to a parking or for-sale service.
- Sorted by provider: your valid addresses grouped into Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, AOL, iCloud and one group per company domain, ready to copy or download.
- Duplicates and aliases: removes exact duplicates and spots the same Gmail inbox written different ways, like john.smith+news@gmail.com and johnsmith@gmail.com.
- Fake-looking addresses: flags placeholders like test@ and asdf@, and randomly generated usernames.
What your results mean
Passed every check and the domain can receive email. Safe to send.
Might work, but has a warning sign such as a likely typo, a disposable inbox or a parked domain. Review before sending.
Can't be delivered: broken syntax, a domain that doesn't exist, or a domain with no mail servers. Remove these.
Simple pricing
$1 per 1,000 emails, paid once for your whole list. A 10,000-email list costs $10. No subscription, no account and no credits to expire. One payment covers up to 50,000 emails.
Private by design
Most of the checking happens right in your browser. Your full email addresses are never uploaded or stored. Only the domain names, the part after the @, are looked up to confirm their mail servers.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is Veml?
Veml catches the problems that cause most hard bounces: broken addresses, domains that don't exist, domains with no mail servers, typos and disposable inboxes. It doesn't connect to each mail server to confirm that one specific mailbox exists, so an address can be graded Valid if its domain is real but that particular person has left the company.
How many emails can I check?
Up to 50,000 per payment, at $1 per 1,000 emails. If your list is bigger than that, Veml checks the first 50,000 and leaves the rest in the box for your next check.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no signup and no subscription. You pay $1 per 1,000 emails through Stripe.
Is my email list kept private?
Yes. Your full addresses stay in your browser and are never uploaded or saved. Only domain names are looked up to check their mail servers.
What file types can I upload?
Plain text and CSV files, including exports from Mailchimp, HubSpot, Google Contacts and spreadsheets. Turn on Extract mode to pull addresses out of messy files.
What is a role account?
An address that belongs to a job or department rather than a person, such as info@, sales@ or support@. They're often shared by several people and tend to have higher bounce and complaint rates.
What is a disposable email address?
A temporary inbox from services like 10 Minute Mail or Mailinator. People use them to skip signups, and they usually stop working within hours.
What if my check gets interrupted?
Each payment covers one check. If your check is interrupted, for example by closing the tab, just reopen Veml in the same browser and it picks up where it left off without charging you again. If anything else goes wrong, email wdr.777@gmail.com and we'll make it right.
